Executive Director, Carol Ross

Carol received a B.A.S. from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota. She brings over 20 years of experience in education and nonprofits including as an administrator for Upward Bound, teaching English as a second language in Beijing, Los Angeles, and Tulsa, and most recently as a Learning Specialist for The Cobb School, Montessori. She was a founding member of the Horizons at The Ethel Walker School staff and is also the proud parent of Walker’s alumnae Madeline ‘18 and Emily ‘19.

Program Director, Brennan Maine

Brennan is an Ethel Walker alumna from the class of 2009. She leads with purpose to uphold a transformative program that uplifts underserved PreK through high school girls from Hartford. She specializes in community-centered program development, impact-driven story-telling, and collaborative fundraising that amplifies Horizons mission and message.
